LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
What can we shoot for you?

Here’s what clients are saying

To say the Salvo's photography has made a tremendous difference in our marketing materials would be true, but wouldn't give you the whole story. Sure, our trade show booths, brochures, newsletters and annual reports are dominated by photos that were taken by the Salvos... pictures that for the first time really capture what we do. But what has been amazing is the change their work has brought about internally at ABS.

A company that placed no value in professional photography is now eagerly setting aside money for it in the budgets. Our marketing & communications team no longer has to go to battle against managers who say, "the company digital camera will do just fine". ABS Staff around the world have seen the value of bringing in Chris and Suzanne because they capture great images that meet our marketing needs every time.
I can't recommend the Salvos highly enough!

Marketing Manager, ABS Americas

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sugar Land Calendar Achieves National Recognition

SUGAR LAND, Texas – The City of Sugar Land received national recognition for its 2001 annual report/calendar with a Silver Circle Award from 3 CMA, a 900-member organization of city and county marketing and communications professionals.
“The judges were right when they said that the photography was the centerpiece to the calender/annual report’s success”, says Barbara Brescian, Communications Manager, The City of Sugar Land, Texas. “The lifestyle shots were so full of vitality and warmth. The Salvos managed to capture the spirit of the city in the 12 monthly photos.”

For the past seven years, I've had the pleasure of working with Chris and Suzanne Salvo of Salvo Photography. Their experience in global remote locations as well as their ability to overcome many obstacles along the way are two of the many reasons they are the only Houston photographers I use.

Not only do they return with excellent pictures for our Company publications, but they make Halliburton friends and contacts along the way.

Whether it's going to West Africa or Washington, D.C., or Brazil, the Salvos plan the assignment, execute the plan and produce award-winning results at competitive prices. Me? I just stay out of their way.

Mark McFarlane, manager, Halliburton Publications

Dear Chris and Suzanne,

Thank you for the excellent work on the YMCA annual report and general information brochure. My boss said he thinks this is the best annual report the YMCA has ever done!

Working with you has been great. Your professional skills and talents extended beyond the expected…the extra time you put in is appreciated. Working as a team, you two create great photographs (not to mention the fun we had at the photo shoots!).

I can’t thank you enough for your generous and professional work on the annual report and brochure – the teamwork was fantastic!

Sincerely,
Ellen K. Betz
Director of Public Relations

Chris & Suzanne,

I just wanted to thank you again for all of your hard work during our recent trip to Mexico City. I know that if it hadn’t been for your dedication and multiple talents, this shoot would not have gone off as smoothly as it did. The images are excellent!

Every time I have called on you, either with an extremely short deadline or something extraordinary, you have jumped through those ‘hoops’ for me… and I can’t thank you enough. Not only for the great images, but also for the time you’ve spent with me in executing my concepts, and the creative ideas that you have shared with me.

I’ll be calling on you again soon, for my next project. Thanks again for another job well done!
