The Reichstag in Berlin - Germany's Parliament - is an amazing piece of architecture. Climbing the spiraling stair gives the visitor ever changing views of the Berlin skyline outside and a peek into the actual government chambers through the glass floor inside. The multifaceted mirrored central column is a sophisticated fun-house visual treat. It's one of The Places I Remember (scroll to bottom of page).
